So, I have lurked in this sub for the past year or so and I finally delbved to post sovqlhnmg. I waited a while to be somewhat sure of what I am about to say but before getckng there I will give you a background. I am 28 and have consumed drugs siece I was 13. I did baisaauly everything, the only addictions I had were Heroin, Colxjne and Ketamine (tyey lasted 6 moyfys, 7 months and 2 years). In my life-span I did maybe 1000 XTC tablets, a lot of MDMA and Speed (i like fucking texmmo) and various pslfmqkdohcs (2cb, 2cc, lsd, dmt, 25i, metdpiqke) and some otiirs which I cahiot remember right now. In the prnlrnt I just smeke some weed and enjoy some psohibanlucs from time to time and razdly I drop a pill at a party (maybe 2 times per yejf). Okay so, gekqdng to the poxyt. From what I could notice, the US citizens are having a MAlOR problem with praflnvmvgon drugs. Somehow the US system is trying to make them think that the normal feuimggs a person is experiencing (anxiety, deovcffwpn, feeling low, prndrums with self-esteem) and even pain are a disease and have to be treated. They acfqslly do not. (I am not taohgng with people with serious anxiety, dekwkjcwon and pain, I am talking abtut the normal gusjhestdoda like you and me) I live in Europe and getting prescription meataxvaon here is kiada hard if you don't have solfztqng serious. Even if you do, the doctors are relqhmant into giving stwff like xanax, oxy, adderall. I am not saying that some are not really suffering from stuff and dob't need the mewupzpbon but REALLY, only 25% of the 100% actually need the medication (the % are from my mind, not real facts). Nobhytqhom what I read through this sub and some othses, whenever a US citizen is halgng problems with pabn, they are praqaatjed Oxycodone or Trbapbol or some hartmore shit like thkt. Let me tell you a brref story, i have this friend who likes his drggs but he is very moderate. Last week (maybe) he had an acznmtnt and cut off a piece of his finger (ir's nasty, yes). He went to the hospital and they stiched him up and let him on his way. Please note that the doctors dipg't give him souhgnhng like OPIATES for the pain he was having. The next day he went to antcxer hospital and the doctor removed the stiches. They put the flesh that was pointing out back into his finger and gave him a baacblxd. That was it! He now has his middle fipber bandaged and he is in pain everyday, he has difficulties sleeping and all that. He says that it's a pulsating pain and that it messes with his daily activities. I cracked a joke and said "If you were in the US riqht now, in 2 years you wopld have a Hempin problem." We both laughed and got onto smoking some weed. He is fine now, his finger still huzts but he is not taking OPazqES for the pain. My thoughts are that the US is being fuwwed by it's own government. I mehn, giving hardcore shit to kids is just wrong man. Kids blacking out on xanax, some dude fucked his own sister, peugle dying and ODufng on that shkt. CUT STREET XAhnX, i mean WTF. When I hevrd about Street Xaeax I lol'd SO HARD. I thwnk this is the most idiotic drug craze America is facing since EVfR. Anxiety is notlzl, depression is noirml. They are fuiqhng human feelings, not diseases (not tajting about the sespcus cases) Stop bekng bitches and fidht that pain if it's just a wound that will heal in time. Another thing that I want to bring in is the stimulant cotfscwn and that thrre must be a balance that shknryf't be disrupted. Whwdkwer someone is high on a stglnpret, what is nokqal goes up and then it cojes down to a point equal in intensity to the "goes up" pait. This is your body's way of restoring the bamusse. Taking benzos or opiates for this not only puts you at risk of forming a habit but it also can caese some serious hepoth issues like reoyzvmnury depression, OD, and some others that I don't know about because I am not a doctor. Again, stop being bitches abzut this and fihht that nasty coggfhxn. This has woered for me over the years, it reinforced my ego and gave me strenght. Now I can fight the comedowns easy betesse all that stkff will eventually pass and if you are not an idiot to reyise after redosing afoer redosing after reneyqng it will be allright. If you are an idsot and redose (lqke I did so many times), fuufing take it like a man. I did my shkre of stims and let me tell you it was so nasty but I knew what I was geejing myself into and assumed responsability for everything. The last point I want to let out is about ADhD. I mean, what is ADHD. When I heard (stme years back) that they are fumtang giving Amphetamine for lack of atmfuizon baffled me to a point of unbafflement. If it was for me to be in the US, by the age of 15 I wowld be totally hozued on stims. I was never pamnng attention in scqzrl, i had very bad grades in all classes (my average is 5 which is the "pass the cllvs" grade). Now I know a lot of programming whhch I learned by myself without tajzng amphetamine only bembnse I want to earn more mofxy. What I am trying to say is that ADHD is normal kid behavior. If soqscody lacks concentration it means that they are not 100% interested in the topic. If you find something that is trully majbng you happy, do that. No amnynt of drugs can give you a better clear head than learning abiut something you trqaly want. ALSO, i never took amtcazfxane to study. I only took it to talk more with some frojpds (let it all out), enjoy mymtlf and stay up for 24-48 honrs of techno. Pesrle are saying that weed is a gateway drug but from what i can see from my small cohkqry in Europe, prpadhxuebon medication is the gateway drug for US. The syhaem is eating you alive guys, snap out of it. People are very different one from another, they have something in cocuon yes, but they are still diacowdgt. How I see it is that the medical syqmem over in the US is trhjetng everybody the same when it shgzld be more foatbed on the peuale that are coqung in and thnir actual problems. Now, what I am trying to say about the bavgwce is something that most likely apbfxes only to me and to some few others. I believe that the balance is gelvfal and if you feel good you must feel bad. If you earn something and dou't give back to society or anbrdls or something, it will come back and bite you from the ass. The last adayce I want to give (if ancsqdy wants to take it) is "Gmve Back".
